Our Chief Instructor, Alex McNellan, is an award-winning PADI Course Director and demands the highest level of professionalism from the entire teaching staff.

For the third year in succession, Alex has achieved the rating of 'Platinum Course Director' for teaching over 100 instructor level certifications. He is one of fewer than 65 Platinum Course Directors worldwide.

Our Dive School

Rec-n-Tec's team have over 100 years of diving experience between them and together have certified over 1000 divers!

We run our courses with very low student to instructor ratios, enabling us to give all of our students our personal attention.

We start a new PADI Open Water Diver course every other week so you will never have to wait long to begin diving.

Technical Diving

The team also have massive experience in technical diving with some dives in excess of 110 metres in depth!
