The Diving

We are planning a weekend trip to Swanage in Dorset. Two dives will be available on Saturday and Sunday and will be a mixture of wrecks and drifts. All boat dives depart from Swanage Pier.

Due to the depth of the wrecks and drifts, a minimum certification of PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent) will be required for those dives. Shore dives suitable for PADI Open Water qualified divers may be available around Swanage Pier depending upon weather conditions.

How to book

The cost of the diving will be £90 in total. Dives can be booked through Rec-n-Tec, by calling on tel: 01727 827301, via email: info@rec-n-tec.co.uk or by popping into the dive centre. However, no place will be guaranteed until full payment (cash only) has been made for all dives. Once a place has been confirmed, refunds will not be possible unless the trip is cancelled due to prevailing weather conditions.

Dive equipment and cylinder hire can be arranged through Rec-n-Tec if required. However, it is essential for safety reasons for each diver to have their own SMB and reel. Unfortunately these items cannot be hired from us but we do have a selection in stock should you wish to purchase them.

Accommodation

Divers are responsible for making their own arrangements for travel and accommodation. Details of a selection of hotels and guest houses in the area are listed below.
