In 2002 Jillian found herself in a bar in Brussels in an argument about whether to start diving or to buy a new TV. Several beers later the decision was made to do both and she hasn’t stopped diving since. She has been lucky enough to dive in lots of locations around the world including Oman, Vietnam, Costa Rica and the Andaman Islands but only recently embraced the unique joys of drysuit diving in the uk which has been a bit of a revelation. She has also been to lots of places in search of whale sharks and has never actually seen one so now believes that they are a conspiracy kept going by people who are in on it.
Jillian qualified as a divemaster with Rec-n-Tec in 2011 and after catching up on a few specialties is now contemplating what training to do next….
When she is not diving Jillian works as a client executive for a digital media agency based in the City, spending far too much time on London Underground and far too much money on shoes.
