How is the course taught at Rec-n-Tec?

Knowledge Development

When you sign up, you take away the 'Adventures in Diving' crew pack containing the manual that accompanies the course. You will need to read through the five chapters which relate to the five dives that you will be doing during the course and complete the relevant Knowledge Reviews. Ahead of the dives, your instructor will run through these, clarify any points that you may not have fully understood and answer any queries.

Open Water

During the UK diving season, there are many opportunities to come to open water with us to complete your five course dives. The Advanced Open Water course can be completed over two days and we organise training trips to the coast and to the inland lakes throughout the UK diving season.

If you prefer, you also have the option of accompanying us on one of our trips to Malta or the Red Sea and completing your Advanced Open Water course in one of these locations.
